A recent study by the Fraser Institute shows air quality across Canada has improved considerably over the past four decades.  However the President of the Peoples Action Committee for Healthy Air wants the report to be confirmed by outside sources.  Dr. Marie Hay says the Fraser says scientists well versed in the field of air quality should look at this study.

But what I did notice as a physician," says Hay, "is that it did not address the health consequences of air pollution in the human population or the economic costs of that."

Hay says people need to remain conscious of the quality of air they are breathing.  The report from the Fraser Institute has found carbon monoxide levels have decreased by 87% since 1974.
